Mathieu Ruben est un artiste de musiques urbaines, il excelle particulièrement dans les domaines du Reggae et du Dancehall. Bercé dès sa plus tendre enfance aux rythmes du Reggae, de la Soul, du Jazz et du Hip Hop il s’inspire musicalement d’artistes comme Bob Marley,
Shabba Ranks, Buju Banton et Garnet Silk ...
Dès son plus jeune âge, il participe au succès du groupe de son père en étant parfois batteur de Ragga Dub Force. Le combat pour la paix, la positivité et la quête de fraternité sont les principaux messages véhiculé par Mathieu Ruben tant dans sa musique que dans son quotidien. L’artiste complet chantant en français et en anglais touche un public internationales et multi-générationnels. Fort d’une longue expérience artistique et scénique Mathieu Ruben s’est produit sur des scènes dans le monde entier.
Agé de 7 ans, il rencontre un large succès en France métropolitaine et dans les Antilles. Après quelques enregistrements, il devient le plus jeune artiste à se produire sur scène : au Bataclan, au Zenith de Paris... et à signer un contrat en maison de disque (Virgin Music). Des apparitions sur des compilations et des albums s’enchaînent, cela lui permet de multiplier les interviews sur les plateaux de télévision (TF1, M6, Canal +, ...), en radio (RTL, Skyrock, ...) ainsi que dans la presse écrite.
En 2013, il créé et organise le Ragga Dub Force Festival en l’honneur du vingt-cinquième anniversaire du groupe paternel. Le succès de cette première édition permet au rendez-vous de devenir un évènement annuel avec 6 éditions à ce jour...
Il sera en tournées internationales au côté de Lutan Fyah puis de Jah Cure en 2016. La même année Mathieu Ruben sors quatrième album « Entracks », avec de nombreux clips tournés à la Jamaique, à Miami et en Martinique.
En 2019 il s’envole pour la Réunion, où il y connaîtra un vif succès lors de plusieurs prestations et collaborations (clips, featurings, compilations). Les sorties respectives de Top Baller et Narcos Riddim rencontrent un franc succès en France et surtout à l’international.
2021 sera l'année de la sortie de son 5ème album « COSMOPOLITAN » suivi d'une tournée, un festival en streaming à également eu lieu pendant le confinement et l'artiste organisera aussi le DANCEHALL SUMER et les DANCEHALL BOKIT PARTY.
Cet année il revient avec "EnTracks Vol 2" un street album aux couleurs Dancehall avec une multitude de featuring pour faire patienter ses fans en attendant la suite des projets.
Biography
Mathieu Ruben is an urban music artist, he particularly excels in the fields of Reggae and Dancehall. Rocked from his earliest childhood to the rhythms of Reggae, Soul, Jazz and Hip Hop, he is musically inspired by artists such as Bob Marley, Shabba Ranks, Buju Banton
and Garnet Silk ... From an early age, he participated in the success of his father's group by sometimes being a drummer for Ragga Dub Force.
The fight for peace, positivity and the quest for brotherhood
are the main messages conveyed by Mathieu Ruben both
in his music and in his daily life. The Complete Singing Artist
in French and English reaches an international audience and
multi-generational. With a long artistic and scenic experience Mathieu Ruben has performed on stages all over the world.
Aged 7, he has met with great success in mainland France and the West Indies. After a few recordings, he became the youngest artist to perform on stage: at the Bataclan, at the Zenith in Paris... and to sign a record contract (Virgin Music). Appearances on compilations and albums are linked, this allows him to multiply the interviews on television sets (TF1, M6, Canal +, ...), on radio (RTL, Skyrock, ...) as well as in the print media.
In 2013, he created and organized the Ragga Dub Force Festival in honor of the twenty-fifth anniversary of his father's group. The success of this first edition allows the meeting to become an annual event with 6 editions to date...
He will be on international tours alongside Lutan Fyah then Jah Cure in 2016. The same year Mathieu Ruben released his fourth album "Entracks", with many clips shot in Jamaica, Miami and Martinique.
In 2019 he flew to Reunion, where he will experience great success during several performances and collaborations (clips, featurings, compilations). The respective releases of Top Baller and Narcos Riddim met with great success in France and especially internationally.
2021 will be the year of the release of his 5th album "COSMOPOLITAN" followed by a tour, a streaming festival also took place during the confinement and the artist will also organize the DANCEHALL SUMER and the DANCEHALL BOKIT PARTY.
